Nick Bodimeade

Nick Bodimeade (b. London 1957) is a British painter and printmaker based in Hamsey, near Lewes in East Sussex.  Nick's work depicts everyday scenes inspired by his travels in Australia, Scandinavia and the US, as well as his life in rural Sussex. Kings Framers now stock a range of Nick's drypoint and chin-colle prints from his 'Studio Chair' series, as well as a collection of stunning original monotypes. The monotypes are produced by painting directly on to a sheet of acrylic, which is then run through a printing press, resulting in in a bold and energetic compositions. Nick is represented by St Anne's Galleries in Lewes, East Sussex and Porthminster Gallery, St Ives and regularly shows at art fairs throughout the UK. Additionally Nick has many years of teaching experience from foundation to post-graduate level at various institutions in the South-East. Read more
